• Controlling Utilities and Consumables – We have integrated sensors into almost all aspects of new furnaces. You have the ability to monitor and manage your inputs, such as water, electricity, and atmosphere, through the HMI (Human Machine Interface).
• Controlling Belt Speed and Cooling – Perfecting your process can go a long way toward saving you money. We have added these controls into your HMI so that you can tweak and monitor your process.
• Glow Plug – If you want to look to electrification, we can incorporate a glow plug instead of a natural gas pilot. Your furnace will be more efficient while also reducing your dependence on natural gas.
• Eliminate Generated Atmospheres – Converting your furnaces to run H2/N2 atmospheres versus generating your own atmospheres like exothermic, endothermic, or dissociated ammonia on-site will greatly reduce your carbon footprint while helping to reduce electricity usage. Moving in this direction will also provide ultimate flexibility for processing when gas shortages occur.

Safety

• External Transformer Taps – In addition to following arc flash requirements, utilizing external transformer taps will saves time and labor via ease of maintenance and convenience.
• Arc Flash Protection – Gasbarre incorporates protective boundaries to provide access to your furnace without exposure to electric hazards. Some common maintenance activities where this is useful would include calibration and thermocouple changeout each have ports outside of the electrical panels.
