On May 18th, Anwelli Okpue, Project Engineer for Gasbarre’s Thermal Processing Systems’ division, presented distinguished service awards to two SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers) members during their celebration of the 90th anniversary of SME at the RAPID + TCT trade show in Detroit, Michigan. Anwelli is the SME Detroit chapter chairman for 2022. Anwelli’s responsibilities include promotion of the chapter and events, coordinating monthly meetings, and supporting member recruiting and retention.
